A memorable Career Counseling seminar was held in Government Post Graduate Islamia College For Women, Lahore on January 07, 2016. High scorer Intermediate and Bachelor level students of the college attended the seminar.
Eduvision arranged a very important seminar regarding the selection of right career. In this seminar more than 200 Students of FA/FSc anf BA/BSs participated. The best career counselor of Pakistan, Sir. Yousaf Almas injected a new spirit to the students and inspired them to choose a right career which best suits their aptitude, skills and abilities. This is in line with the ambition of Eduvision to ensure a bright future for Pakistani youth through proper career counseling, information and guidance and solution to their social, familial and academic problems. The guiding light for the students of Pakistan and the CEO Eduvision, Sir Almas, presented a brief introduction of career planning, its needs and impacts of improper career planning on an individuals' life and on society.
After the basic introduction, Mr. Almas guided the students on how to select a suitable field of study. He thoroughly described all the steps necessary to plan a career effectively, with visual support. His interactive session and lively way of conducting the session kept the students engaged and motivated.
After his lecture, Sir Almas addressed the questions from the students. Career planning guides were distributed to all participants at the end of seminar.
Feedback of the participants was very encouraging for Eduvision. Nearly all of the students mentioned that they have gained the information and guidance necessary to plan their career and also came to know about many interesting and emerging careers. The audience also demanded that such Career counseling seminars should be organized more frequently in their areas so that they can get maximum guidance from the experienced counselors.
