6 RULES FOR CAREER SELECTION 

There can be many roads to the same destination. When it comes to making a choice, we need to collect complete information about each route; we compare the anticipated troubles and comfort accorded to each route, and keeping in mind the resources available to us, and the provision, we decide to follow the path which is the safest and offers maximum facilities. Same analogy can be applied to the journey of life; we should choose the best path to reach our destination in life.

To lead a successful life with a purpose, we have to choose a field of education. This decision is of paramount significance in a student’s life; it sets the direction for the course of journey of success in life, organizes the routine activities of everyday life, decides for a definite course of the pattern of life / life style etc. hence, choosing a specific subject of study will be one of the most important decision in a student’s life.

So before you select a career for yourself, make sure that you are comfortable with the kind of tools and equipment used by its professionals. If you don’t like to work with machines, try to go for a career which involves a minimum use of machinery. 

5.Everyday Routine

Academic field you are going to choose is what you are going to follow for whole life. Academic field must also be synchronized with your daily routine or it must be a routine you can easily opt. Vice virsa would result in everyday fatigue, tension and mental as well as physical sickness.

6.Problems, Demands, Remuneration (Monetary benefits)

Apart from the other rewards your career gives you, you must be aware of the monetary benefits it presents. A career isn’t a good career unless it earns you a wealthy living. Choose a career for yourself which gives you a good sum of money at the end of the month. Don’t forget to check what the career demands from you and which issues you might face once you enter that field.
