Allama Iqbal Open University has announced online Matric and Inter Programs for Overseas Pakistanis and International students across the globe. The complete mode of study and examinations will be online. Overseas Pakistanis can now easily study at the open university while staying in any country of the world. Online MBA and Online MPA are offered in collaboration with the commonwealth of learning Canada.
AIOU is among the 4 top mega universities of the world providing distance education. The University (AIOU) operates on the semester system and admits students in the Autumn and Spring semesters.
A large number of overseas Pakistanis are residing in the USA, Canada, UK, KSA, UAE, Europe, and other parts of the world. AIOU previously had examination centers in the middle east but overseas Pakistanis in the USA, Canada, and Europe faced problems in continuing their education with any Pakistani university. Now the complete process is online.
Students will have to apply online, pay fees online, study online and appear in online assessments and examinations. Hence all the hurdles of Pakistanis in the USA, Canada, and Europe are removed and they can comfortably study online with AIOU.
