AIOU to set up a Science Club

ISLAMABAD (APP): Vice-Chancellor,Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Prof Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi on Saturday announced that AIOU is going to set up a science club to involve and encourage youth for promotion of Science and Technology in the country. Addressing the concluding ceremony of the three-days workshop on "Spectroscopic and Electrochemistry Techniques" for College Teachers arranged by the Department of Chemistry, AIOU with the assistance of Higher Education Commission, he said the club will work under the name of `Science for the Society' on country-wide basis.
