The criteria for admission are same as MBBS but it is less hectic and easier. After BDS, there's a 6 month compulsory house job compared to the 1 year house job after MBBS. BDS is a great field because there is no tension of specialisation after the degree. You can start practicing as soon as you complete your degree. Timings are the most relaxed in dentistry. There is no evening or night duties. Girls can manage all home jobs along with their practice.
