BISE Peshawar 9th Class Result 2023

BISE Peshawar Board 9th class Result 2023 date has been officially announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar.  Results will be announced on August 22, 2023, at 6:00 PM for all students of SSC-1 (Secondary School Certificate) science and general (arts) groups. KPK Boards has announced that all 9th-class students from all boards of KPK will get their results on the same date and time.

Students of Class 9 from all KPK boards took their Class 9 board examinations in  March/April and the results for them are ready. Students will receive online transcripts/result cards after the result announcement from the board’s official website. Students can also download and print the online transcripts/result cards.

The results will be announced on the official website of the Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The result can also be checked through SMS. Here is the detailed process of checking results through SMS code and online result checking and offline methods. The board gazette will mention the results of each individual student as well as the results of all students who appeared from each educational institute / high school.

Interestingly, students score high marks in science subjects than in social science subjects or humanities subjects. Most of the students score the highest marks in 9th-class math and 9th-class biology subject. Students score fewer marks in English subjects. This is because most of the students like to study stem subjects because they have a passion to pursue stem careers and go for pre-medical or pre-engineering. But, there is a need to educate the students that social sciences subjects also offer lucrative career options, especially business analytics, finance and banking, and others.

New GPA-Based Grading in Education

From this year, exact marks will not be shown on the result cards of the students. Instead,  students will be given GPA on a scale of 1-5. All boards have issued a notification in this regard. This notification says that the grading system for classes 9th and 11th will be implemented from Annual Examinations 2023 and for classes 10th and 12th from Annual Examinations 2024. At first, all three, absolute marks, grades, and GPA will be mentioned for each student. Later on, from Annual Examination 2025, results will only be communicated in Grades, GPA, and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

How to check BISE Peshawar 9th Result 2023 Online:

BISE Peshawar board class 9 result 2023 will be available on the official board website. Total marks and marks in each subject including 9th class computer science, 9th class biology, etc will be on the official transcript/result card provided by the board so students can check. To check your results, do the following:

• Click open your web browser (ideally on google chrome) and into the address bar type in the official website of the Peshawar Board (www.bisep.edu.pk)
• On the day of the results, the home page of the board website displays a section where you can enter your roll number and view the results directly.
• Enter your roll number in the provided field and hit enter or click the submit button.
• Your online transcript / online result card will show your overall scores and marks in each course, as well as grades, GPA, and CGPA.

 Calculating GPA Grading System for Board Examination

Online transcript and result card will now mention the new grading system based on GPA. As of now, the new grading in education is introduced by all boards in Pakistan. The new system is applicable for the 9th class and 1st year from 2023 and for the 10th and 2nd year from 2024. Converting Percentage to GPA is made easy with the following table for the students. Secondary School Certificate (SSC-I) First Annual Board Examination 2023:

• The 9th class board examination was conducted in March/April 2023.
• The result will be announced on 22 August 2023.
• Passing marks are 40% for each subject. Students scoring fewer marks will get a U grade (Unsatisfactory / as previously known as FAIL). Also, your grades will be displayed against each subject.
• Subject-wise marks will be mentioned along with grades and GPA on the result card/transcript. The grading System will now replace the marks system as already announced by the boards.

How to apply for Rechecking of marks for 9th Result 2023

• All inquiries regarding the result of the candidates may be addressed to the Controller Examination of the board.
• Candidates willing to apply for re-checking of their paper(s) may apply online through the BISE website within 15 days after the declaration of the result.
• A student who obtains less than 40% marks in one or more subjects or remains absent in Part-I Examination (if he does not appear in class 10th Examination) as the case may be, may be readmitted in Part-I with changed or in the same combination of subjects/group in any other or in the same education Institute / High School.
