Allah Almighty has sent every human to pursue an ordained destiny which testifies the belief that humans have been sent fully equipped with all individual attributes, abilities and capabilities required. Now it is up to mankind to explore these latent potential and utilize them in a commendable manner, enabling themselves to act their part well and helping them achieve their goals in life
CAREER
The activities and jobs a man remains occupied with throughout his life, from dusk to dawn, the accomplishments and undertakings that earn him recognition in life and become a source of monetary benefits for him to run the course of life are professions we label as ‘career’. In other words, career can be conceived of as the track a man treads along his entire lifetime. Career must never be mistakenly interpreted in terms of job titles or degrees. For instance, an individual in possession of and MBBS degree, having got through CSS examinations, appointed as an officer in government cadre will no more enjoy medical as a career.
CHOICE OF THE RIGHT CAREER
What actually signifies a right career choice – indicators like enjoying glare of publicity as a business tycoon, clinching top most positions in leading institutions, having possession of a beautifully designed luxurious house and a brand new car point toward an exemplary creditable career? In fact, far more than the absence or presence of any of the above, career choice is driven by many factors, and the most important is that a right career choice makes sure that all intellectual, physical and emotional potential of an individual are exploited most commendably in the supreme interest of the individual himself and the society at large. It’s a career that is in perfect harmony with your personality, your qualities, interests and abilities, in line with your values system and gives you a sense of being - a sense of self-actualization. The benefits of a fulfilling career commit a happy successful more productive life. A right career move is the source of earning legitimate livelihood (Rizq e Halal), nourishes your potential, and helps you become more productive and responsible for the betterment of your community.
OUR ATTITUDE AND THEIR IMPACT
We have acquired weird social behavior about career planning. Unfortunate enough, the most important decision of one’s life is traditionally based on either of the following: some random estimation of a profession, a general pointless discussion in the family, recommendation of a friend or family, parents’ aspirations for their children to promote a family business, lack of information about different professions and fields, or lack of resources etc. such attitude can have alarming impact on individual as well as on society
