Chinese Ambassador has said that China is about to start a major Scholarship program for Pakistani students. As per the plans, all top rated universities and institutes of higher learning in China will provide scholarship to talented Pakistani students. In addition to this, China will also collaborate with Pakistan to provided 100 smart classrooms and numerous agricultural research centers in various universities in Pakistan for research and development in Pakistan.
Chinese Ambassador was addressing a training workshop on “Resource & Environment Scientific Data Sharing and Disaster Risk Reduction Knowledge” organized by China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre on Earth Sciences (CPJRC) and Department of Earth Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University, here on Monday.
Chinese universities are already providing a number of scholarships to the talented Pakistani students. this announcement make it clear that further scholarship opportunities will open for Pakistani students for studying in China. It is pertinent to mention here that a number of countries in the world are focusing on attracting International students to their universities. An number of foreign students in UK, USA and other countries is dropping. In a recent Development, UK has allowed international students a two years work visa after graduation, to increase the enrollment of international students in UK universities.
