COMSATS Entry test 2020 for engineering programs is canceled. The university has sought permission from Pakistan Engineering Council PEC to admit students to its BS Engineering programs without conducting entry test. PEC has given permission to COMSATS.
COMSATS authorities wrote a letter to PEC on August 16, seeking permission to waive off the entry test requirement for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs for Fall Admissions 2020. PEC has accepted the COMSATS request on the subject. PEC has approved the request of the institution and waived off the entrance test requirement for admission in all campuses including Islamabad Campus, Lahore Campus, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari Campus.
COMSATS Merit Formula for admission 2020
Now according to the new approved admission policy, the merit of the students will be calculated as follows:
- Matric / Equivalent: 20%
- FSc/Equivalent: 40%
- Elective Basic Science Subjects: 40% (Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science)
