KARACHI (APP): The Convocation 2013 of the NED University of Engineering and Technology will be held at its main campus here on February 28. This was stated by the Registrar of the institution, Engr. Javed Aziz Khan, on Saturday. He said that the Sindh Governor, who is also the Chancellor of public sector universities in the province, would preside over the event. As many as 1,600 degrees of bachelors and masters would be conferred at the convocation besides 22 gold medals to those who excelled in various disciplines. The Registrar also announced that the students' invitation cards for the Convocation would be handed over to them only after attending the rehearsal fixed on February 27 at 1430 hours at the NED University's main campus. Students' invitation cards must be obtained in person by the students themselves, he added.
