Digital Transformation Policy by AIOU

It is a great achievement that Allama Iqbal Open University has taken a lead by formulating a "Digital Transformation Policy" which is a flagship initiative aimed at the overall digitization of all learning material for improvement of learning experience of the learner and the one who carries out the teaching process, creating an end-to-end automation of all university processes. AIOU is the first university in the public sector to have used this automated suite of technology to automate all academic, administrative, and financial processes.

AIOU has five departments,

How to Enroll in AIOU?

You can fill an online application form to enroll in AIOU. For this you should visit the AIOU official website. On the admissions tab you will find the online admission form.

1. Once you open the online application form you will be given 4 options. Admission for fresh applicants, enrolment for continuing students, download prospectus for national and international students respectively.

2. Click on the admission for fresh students. You can also download the prospectus if you find the need to do so.

3. After you click on the admission for fresh applicants you will be directed to a portal on which you will have to create an account. Click on create account.

4. Log in to your account.

5. You will see two options. First option is for the face-to-face programs, and the second option is for open distance learning programs.

6. Select the program you wish to apply for in the next window. In this window you can choose if you want to do a certification, BA/BS, B. Ed or an associate degree program.

7. After this you will be directed to another window, where you will have to submit your personal information, and that regarding your educational history and fill your application.

8. After you fill in this information, you will find the options for the programs you can choose at AIOU. Chose your preferred degree programs here. Then you can add in all the required documents and info into the online system.

9. After you complete your online application, you will be asked to pay for the application fee. You will be paying for this fee online.

10. You will then be notified regarding your admission test.

11. After test, you will get admission or get rejected. Upon admission you will be provided the LMS login ID and password.
