Facebook has banned Pakistan Army's official website https://joinpakarmy.gov.pk The site cannot be posted on facebook. This was noticed on Thursday September 19, 2019 in the morning when a team of Eduvision counselors was responding to the questions of students on how to join Pak Army on our official facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Eduvision.edu.pk/. When the team member tried to post the link of the official Pak Army's website on facebook in a reply to the students comments, facebook denied the link saying the link goes against their community standards.
It is strange to notice that an official website being banned by facebook. Not only Joinpakarmy.gov.pk is the official website of Pakistan Army, but also it is registered with a gov domain. For those who don’t understand, Gov domains are only reserved for Government institutions. Hence banning a Gov domain of any country means you have serious issues with a specific country. How can a private organization like Facebook, ban a Government website of any country. Most probably these are Indians who are operating facebook for Asian region.
All of you are requested to share and raise your voice. This is not only about Pak Army, but also about Pakistan, as they have banned a Gov.PK domain.
