Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has increased the pass percentage for matric and Inter exams. The pass percentage for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is increased from 33 percent to 40 percent. Students scoring less than 40% marks will be considered failures.
A notification is issued in this regard and is forwarded to all the concerned departments. The policy will be effective from Matric and Inter exams 2023 conducted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The policy will be applicable to all students appearing in SSC and HSSC exams from within the country and from abroad.
It is pertinent to mention here that the board has decided to conduct separate practical exams for the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th classes. The policy will be effective from Matric and Inter exams 2023.
