School Education Department has started Google certification, in the first phase teachers of 4 districts will be able to get Google certificate. The School Education Department (SED) Punjab aims to train 1000 school teachers as Master Trainers and 50,000 students for the Google Certification.
According to the details, teachers from Lahore, Kasur, Layyah and Bhakkar will be able to apply. Google will issue certificates to thousands of teachers who receive training.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said that the Google training course will be conducted according to international standards; teachers will be able to participate in the course by scanning the QR code sitting at home. The importance of the teachers who take the course will increase in the private sector. Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has called on a delegation of IT companies, where it was decided to launch the education project.
Under this project, free-of-cost digital courses will be taught to one thousand teachers in government schools. Meanwhile, Google for Education will support free certification courses for 15 thousand university students. University students will be trained in artificial intelligence (AI) and anti-virus courses.
The Punjab Government has started Online Registration to get Free Google Certificates for Teachers in Punjab. The teachers can get their registration online through a specific link or QR CODE.
