Higher education Commission (HEC) Islamabad has warned students not to seek admission to 2 years BA BSc and MA MSc Programs. Although a number of public sector universities have announced registration schedules for Private candidates registration for the MA MSc program, HEC has clearly warned the students to abstain from registering for these programs.
It is pertinent to mention here that a few weeks before, a newspaper published the news stating that HEC has allowed one more year of extension for registration to these programs but HEC has clearly denied any such news and termed it as fake news. The latest alert states that HEC has not allowed any extension in the timeline for admission to 2-year BA BSc and MA MSc programs.
The last date for enrollment in BA BSc and MA MSc were respectively December 31, 2019, and June 30, 2022. Students and parents are advised not to take admissions to 2 year degree programs.
