Higher education department Government of Punjab announces to recruit lecturers for Government colleges in the province. HED has instructed to recruit lecturers in all districts of the Punjab. Lecturers will be appointed on the BS-17 Scale.
Government Colleges in Punjab are facing a shortage of teaching staff. The decision is made to fill all the vacant seats in Government Colleges. Prior to this HED had recruited College teaching Interns CTIs for one year to fill the gap. But now HED has asked Director Public Instruction to recruit the lecturers.
Applications will be invited through Punjab Public Service Commission PPSC. PPSC will be responsible for hiring of the lecturers, their tests, and interviews.
