The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) opens registration for Permanent Commission as GD Pilot for fresh graduates. Graduates who have completed a BS, BSc in engineering, MBBS, and BDS are encouraged to apply. The registration process starts on September 27, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for GD (P) SUPPLEMENTARY COURSE (SSC)
Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan.
Marital Status: Unmarried
Age: 21 to 23 years on 25 April, 2025
Height: 5 feet 4 inches/163 cm
Vision: 6/6 each eye (without Glasses) 1
Rank: Flying Officer
Qualification:
- BS Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
- BS [with FSC/ICS/A Level/IB (International Baccalaureate) background with Physics as a major subject) Computer Sciences/IT/Al/Economics/Finance nce/Statistics/ Equivalent degree. English or
- BE (All disciplines)/BS (Engineering all disciplines) or Equivalent degree.
- MBBS/BDS or Equivalent degree.
Note: Each qualification must be with a Minimum 1st division/2.5 CGPA from a Pakistani/Foreign University recognized by HEC
Training Period: 02 years
INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
- A candidate is Ineligible if he is (a) Rejected by 155 B/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection boards...
- Twice Screened out by ISSB
- Twice rejected by ISSB for postgraduate entry.
- Twice Rejected by ISSB for intermediate/graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by ISSB OR GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.
- Once Rejected by ISSB for intermediate/graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and twice rejected by ISSB OR GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.
- Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in 1558 except waiver granted by the competent authority. However, bar of 120 days will not be applicable to candidates appearing in GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.
- Dismissed/Removed/Debaned from Govt services including armed forces.
- Convicted in a court of law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority.
- Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB).
- Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot be requested)
- Withdraw from any bonded armed forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds. from any armed forces officers academy/
- Withdrawn/Discharge/resigned or purchase release training institution on any ground.
- Tempering of academic certificates/forgery/concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces.
- Gives incomplete, false or wrongful information.
- Thrice screened out by Army/Navy/ Air Force during preliminary selection.
PAF GD Pilot Selection Procedure
- Online Registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
- Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test through e-Testing.
- Initial Medical Examination & Interview at 185 Centre.
Initial Physical Test:-
- Running: 1 Mile in 08 Minutes
- Push-Ups 15 in 02 Minutes
- Sit-Ups: 20 in 02 Minutes
- Chin-Ups: 03 in 02 Minutes
Only Shortlisted candidates would be detailed for ISSB.
Test/Interview by ISSB Kohat/Gujranwala/Malir/Quetta.
Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore. Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) at I&SC Rawalpindi.
Final Selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.
