Join Pak Army Medical Corp as Captain or Major Jobs 2022 Pakistan Army has announced Job opportunities for medical corps as captain or major for Short Service Commission 2022. MBBS degree holders can apply for the post of Captain while those having higher qualifications e.g FCPS in relevant specialties may apply for the post of major.
The registration process shall start from December 28, 2022, and the last date to apply for Pak Army's Short Service commission is January 15, 2022. Candidates can either register through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). The following procedure will be adopted:- REGISTRATION THROUGH THE INTERNET. MARITAL STATUS
- Male - Married/Unmarried
NATIONALITY. Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS.

- Male Candidates - 5'-4"(162.5cm)
- Female Candidates - 5'-0" (152.4 cm)
- Weight. - As per the Body Mass Index
How to apply for Pak Army Short Service Commission 2022
Candidates can either register through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). The following procedure will be adopted:-
REGISTRATION THROUGH THE INTERNET. A candidate can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk Date and time of the test shall be intimated on the internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account. Candidates will report on the exact date and time given for the preliminary test on a computerized roll with no slip. The date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along documents mentioned in para 6 and will pay the prospectus fee on the day of the test. Candidates MUST attain a working knowledge of computers as registration and tests will be conducted on computers.
REGISTRATION AT AS&RCs. Candidates may report at nearest AS&RCs for registration/allotment of roll no along with necessary documents mentioned in para 6 and the prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. Candidates will bring these documents on the day of the test as well.
WRITTEN / INTELLIGENCE / PERSONALITY TESTS.
Professional Written test and Intelligence I Personality tests based on multiple-choice questions will be conducted at AS&RCs from 3rd of February 2021 to 12 February 2021
FURTHER SELECTION
Candidates who are selected by AS&RCs will be called for an interview by GHQ Selection Board at Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Medical examination of recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate's overall performance.
TRAINING PERIOD
- 22 weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at AMC Centre Abbottabad and AFPGMI Rawalpindi for male and female GDMOs respectively.
- 12 weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at AMC Centre Abbottabad for male PTC Officers.
