Pakistan Army invites applications for induction in its engineering corps as commissioned officers. FSc pre-engineering and ICS students can apply for the Pakistan Army Technical Cadet course. Selected candidates will be offered admission to NUST colleges, and the Pakistan Army will fully sponsor their studies. After completing four four-year degrees, candidates will join the Pakistan Army as captains.
Regular Commission will be offered to the selected candidates and candidates will be able to join Pak Army as an engineer and officers upon successful completion of their degree. Online registration shall start on December 16, 2024. The last date to apply for the Pak Army 36th Technical Cadet course is January 31, 2024.
Academic / Military Training for Technical Cadet Course 2025
Studies: 4 Years Engineering degree program.
Military Training. After obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, cadets will undergo one-year military training at PMA Kakul.
Engineering Disciplines and institutions
Selected candidates will study one of the following degree programs in respective NUST colleges.
- Military College of Engineering Risalpur: Civil Engineering
- Military College of Signals, Rawalpindi: Electrical Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Software Engineering
- College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Rawalpindi: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer System Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
- College of Aeronautical Engineering, Risalpur: Aeronautical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course 2025
Age - 17 - 21 years on (relaxable for three months both in upper and lower age limit)
Gender - Male
Marital Status - Unmarried
Nationality. Citizen of Pakistan. Upon final selection candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
Physical Standards
(1) Minimum Height: "- 5'- 4" (162.5 cm)"
(2) Weight - As per Body Mass Index (BM!)
- Education. FSc {Pre Engineering) - Physics, Mathematics. Chemistry / Computer Studies / Computer Sciences with minimum 65% marks or 'O' level passed (English being compulsory) in five subjects and 'A' level passed in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry I Computer Studies I Computer Sciences in Grade A-C."
- Candidates possessing qualifications such as 'O' level and 'A' level etc will be required to obtain an Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (JBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad, and attach it with the application form along with 'A' level pass in Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, or Computer Science are essentially in Grades A-C.
- Candidates who have passed FSc in Computer Sciences can apply for Computer Software Engineering only.
Technical Cadet Course Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure.
Candidates can either register through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). The following procedure will be adopted:-
Registration Through Internet. Candidates can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pkDate and time of the test shall be intimated on the internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account Candidates will report on the exact date and time given for the preliminary test on the computerized roll no slip. The date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along documents mentioned in Para 6 and will pay the prospectus fee on the day of the test. Candidates MUST attain working knowledge of computers as registration and tests will be conducted on computers.
Registration at AS&RCs. Candidates may report at the nearest AS&RCs for registration I allotment of roll no along with necessary documents mentioned in Para 6 and the prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. Candidates will bring these documents on the day of the test as well.
