Khyber Medical University {KMU) being the admitting university invites applications for MBBS/BDS admissions in the following Public Sector Medical and Dental Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and for reciprocal seats in AJK & other provinces. The online admission process shall start on September 30, 2024, and the last date to apply for KP Medical Colleges Admission is October 21, 2024.
Application forms will be available online at the KMU admission website http://cas.kmu.edu.pk from September 30, 2024. Medical Board of disabled students shall be held on October 24, 2024. The provisional Merit List shall be displayed on November 05, 2024.

KMU Eligibility Criteria for Government Medical & Dental Colleges of KP
- The candidate must have passed obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate or F.Sc (Pre-Medical} or equivalent qualification from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad.
- The candidates who have appeared in the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 and have passed MDCAT examination with 55% marks for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- The candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/ Newly Merged Tribal Districts (NMTD)
Merit / Aggregate Formula 2024 for KP Government Medical & Dental Colleges
The merit for the purpose of admission will be calculated as an aggregate percentage of marks derived from the formula of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC} and Department of Health, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as below:-
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent = 10°/o
- Intermediate Pre-Medical (HSSC) or equivalent = 40%
- MDCAT = 50%

How to apply for KMU Online Admissions 2024 for KP Medical Colleges
The candidates shall apply online on the KMU admissions website (http://cas.kmu.edu.pk) as per the following steps/procedure:
- STEP 1: Visit. http://cas.kmu.edu.pk and click create an account. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the process.
- STEP 2: Enter your details and select the category of seats (Open Merit, NMTD/FATA, OPF, Disabled, Backward Areas, Reciprocal, APS, and Minority) you want to apply for. A separate admission form along with the fee shall be submitted for General Self-Finance Seats.
- STEP 3: Upload readable scanned copies of relevant documents.
- STEP 4: Generate Fee slip(s) (Open Merit, General Self Finance, NMTD/FATA, OPF, Disabled, Backward Areas, Reciprocal & Minorities, and APS Seats) and print it. Visit any branch of the Bank of Khyber and deposit MBBS and BDS fees separately. A separate application processing fee will need to be deposited for General Self-Finance seats.
- STEP 5: Login again to verify payment details and submit the application.
NOTE: Keep your original Fee slip to be produced as evidence during the admission process.
Incomplete/deficient applications shall not be entertained.
No admission forms will be accepted through mail/courier.
Applicants from NMTD/FATA and Backward Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall submit their certificates of the location of institutes {http://krnuadmissions.pk) without these certificates, their application forms will not be accepted.
(iv) Applicant shall list all colleges for admission in order of priority in the designated fields provided in the online form which once provided will stand final, subsequent changes will not be entertained.
