Punjab Minister for School Education Dr. Murad Raas has announced that Matric and Inter exams 2021 in Punjab shall be held as per schedule. According to the schedule announced by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, Matric exams are to start from May 04. But today, the federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood announced that Matric and inter exams in Punjab will be delayed by two to three weeks.
Federal Minister said that most of the 9-12 exams in the country will be conducted in June and July. He said that exams may be started from the 3rd or last week of May. But now the Punjab Education Minister has announced that exams shall be conducted as per the previous schedule.
Dr. Murad Raas announced this on his official Facebook page, confirming that 9-12 exams in Punjab shall be conducted as per schedule. This has sparked confusion amongst the students and teachers. Although Punjab Education Minister and Federal Minister for Education and Professional training are from the same political party, still it makes no sense that both are announcing different strategies on the same day.
