Education boards across Punjab will conduct special examinations from November 27 from candidates who are absent in inter-annual examinations and have reservations on 33% marks. The Punjab Boards Chairman Committee has sent suggestions to the Higher Education Department. Now the proposal is approved. Specials Examinations will be held in November.
Education boards across Punjab, including Gujranwala, have decided to take special exams in November from students who were absent in the 10th and Inter Part Two annual examinations this year. Students who have objections over objecting to 33% discounted marks can also appear in the special exams. If the candidate does not want to get 33% marks, it will be re-examined. Such candidates have to inform the board for re-examination within 15 days of the result.
Similarly, students who object to the results of the ninth and eleventh classes will inform the board within 30 days about accepting their results or taking the composite examination. Punjab Boards have also announced Inter and Matric Result dates.
Who can Appear in Matric and Inter Special Exams 2021
Boards have announced that students who were absent or those who are not satisfied with their 33% result can appear in Special exams 2021. Although the boards have not announced the final policy for special exams 2021, we believe that the following students will be eligible to appear.
- Students who applied for Inter exams 2021 but were absent from exams
- Students who are not satisfied with 33% marks
- students who want to improve their marks in a subject
- Students who want to improve their marks in all subjects
Can Improvers appear in Special exams 2021
Students who want to improve their marks can appear in special exams 2021. But it must be noted that as per the board's rules, a student can avail only one chance for improvement. Hence students who have already availed their chances for improvement, cannot appear in Special exams 2021. But students who have not appeared in any improvement exam, and want to improve their inter or matric result 2021 can appear in Special exams 2021.
Subjects and Syllabus of Special exams 2021
It is clear that Special exams 2021 will be conducted for only Elective subjects. Also, the smart syllabus will be followed. Hence, for students who appear in the improvement of a single subject in special exams 2021, and scores more marks than previous exams, then his/her complete result will be revised. As the marks in compulsory subjects are to be calculated based on the performance in elective subjects.
