MCAT Test 2011 Result is expected in the last of Sep

Lahore, MCAT test of university of health science was held yesterday In 12 different cities of Punjab. According to the information, total 33,694 candidates were appeared against 3,205 MBBS and 216 BDS seats in 15 public sector medical and 3 dental colleges while private sector colleges announced 2,200 seats. Test was conducted by University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Tuesday. MCAT Result 2011 will be announced in the last of this month, said UHS.

Three centers were made in this regard; one was at board of intermediate and secondary education examination halls, where 5,440 female candidates appeared. Second center was at university of engineering and technology where 577 male candidates appeared and the third center was Punjab university examination halls where 2,564 male and 1,492 female candidates appeared for the test.

UHS Vice chancellor Prof Malik Husain Mubashar said that the highly scientific and sophisticated methods had been adopted to maintain the secrecy and transparency of examination papers and admissions will be taken purely on the merit basis.

MCAT results will be announced in the end of this month. UHS has not announced the exact date for the result declaration.
