Students are the backbones of any nation. The future of a country depends on the students it has prepared because they will take control of the country and would decide the fate of the nation. So they should prepare themselves for the matters that are to be resolved in future. Good students are loved and respected by their fellows and society and those who don't put effort in such crucial time of their life ultimately become a burden for society.
Some particular positive attributes are possessed by a good student which make him a successful person. One of such qualities is the commitment to learning. He is dedicated towards learning and studying and doing good in life for himself and others. He knows that he is living in an era where the survival of the fittest only is possible so he continues to put in effort in his work and stay committed towards learning. All other matters become secondary for him. Another positive attribute is the persistence. A student who is persistent is not afraid of any kind of failures in life instead he has the courage to face them all. He keeps on working hard and remains dedicated to achieve his goals. Responsibility is another positive trait shown by a great student. This attribute shows that a student has guts to perform his daily tasks in a suitable and decent manner and is ready to fulfil his duties. If he is not responsible, he cannot get along with the issues in a student life. One more such positive aspect that a great student shows is the motivation to do best and be successful. A motivated student can be taught easily because he shows his will to study and learn and the perform the best he can. It is a quality possessed by few only. The most important trait that a positive student shows is the Self Discipline. No matter how determined, involved or committed a student is, lack of self discipline can make it way difficult to achieve his goals. A disciplined learner can manage his time and divide it in certain tasks. Self discipline makes one do things that cannot simply come out naturally but one has to take a step forward to perform all those duties. These few characteristics make a student extraordinary and bright and help him become a better member of society.
There are some negative attributes that are shown by today's students which make them unsuccessful in the real game of life. The main negative attribute is the lack of commitment and determination to learn. This is a particular characteristic of a negative student who is not ready to work hard and give his full to the studies. This attribute can never make one achieve his goals. One of the biggest negative trait is the usage of social networking sites during studies. Social media has become really common and it is a great addiction for students leading to distraction from studies and learning. Lack of confidence is another highly negative characteristic shown by students which make it very difficult for them to show good learning and commitment because their inner self keeps on saying this target is unachievable. Procrastination is the negative habit most common in today's students. Delaying the work to the deadline and not showing interest in learning leads to an unsuccessful individual. Another noticeable negative attribute is the complain and blame game that all unsuccessful students show. Instead of performing well and showing dedication, they focus on the negative aspects and blame the circumstances around them for the failure.
