PEF's to facilitate 400,000 more students

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has launched the phase-7 of expansion in its educational programs in which 1000 schools will be partnered under its flagship Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) program in 36 districts of the province.

As a result of this expansion, more than 400,000 deserving students will get quality education under the FAS. This will increase the total number of FAS students to over 1.2 million in 36 districts. Now, 850,000 deserving students are getting free education in 1771 partner schools in 29 districts of the province.

This was stated by Chairman Punjab Education Foundation, Raja Muhammad Anwar while addressing the district coordination meeting of FAS partner schools of Chakwal, Khushab and Mianwali districts at District Council Hall, Chakwal on Friday, said a press release issued here.
