Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) announced jobs for the lecturers for Higher Education Department. A total of 297 jobs are announced in the Higher Education department along with many other departments. Out of these 239 jobs are Female lecturers while 58 jobs are for Male lecturers in the Government Colleges of Punjab. The Last date to apply for PPSC jobs is August 22, 2022. Applications can be submitted at the PPSC website.
Lecturers will be hired for the BS-17 Scale. Candidates having master's degrees in the relevant subjects can apply. In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to a Master's degree, he/she will be required to submit the equivalence certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of the interview. If a candidate fails to submit the equivalence certificate issued by the competent authority, his/her candidature will be canceled.

Lecturers are required having the required qualification in the following disciplines:
- Physics
- Chemistry
Eligibility Criteria for PPSC Lecturer Jobs 2022
- Masters with at least 2nd division in the relevant subject
- Age: 21 to 28 years (10 years age relaxation in upper age limit for Female Candidates and 07 years age relaxation in upper age limit for male candidates)
- Gender: Male and Female
- Domicile: Punjab
The written test shall be conducted for the selection. The test shall comprise 100 Marks. 90 minutes of time will be allocated for the test. 80% of the questions will be based on a particular qualification while 20% of questions will be general knowledge-based.
