School Education Department Government of Punjab has announced the schedule for Schools during the holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarik. A notification is issued in this regard. According to the notification, the following timings will be observed in all educational institutions/schools in Punjab during Ramzan.
According to the notification, school timings for single-shift schools will be from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, the school timings will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
In double-shift schools and Insaaf afternoon schools, the school timings for the first shift will be 7:30 AM to 11:15 AM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. Friday school timings will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Evening shift timings from Monday to Thursday will be 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Evening shift schools timings on Friday will be 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The opening and closing time for girls' schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than the above-mentioned times. The schedule will be applicable to all Government and private educational institutions/schools operating in the province.
