Punjab CM Takes Notice Of Changes To Syllabus

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the deletions made in the tenth class syllabus and directed the School Department and Punjab Textbook Board to immediately restore the deleted items. A spokesman of the Punjab government said that the Chief Minister has also constituted a four-member committee comprising of Senior Member Board of Revenue, Chairman Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Chairman Punjab Education Endowment Fund Dr. Amjad Saqib and head of Islamiat Department of Punjab University to examine the process that led to changes and deletions in the syllabus. The committee will also investigate as to who authorised the changes and submit its report to the Chief Minister within two days.
