In continuation of the office notification No 4557 dated 14-11-2012, the Vice Chancellor has approved the following recommendations of the chairman of the committee constituted by him in response to resolve the queries raised by the office of the Controller of Examinations regarding the stoppage of appearance of a Private/External degree candidate in B.A/BSc examination from 2014. Now, a candidate, who wants to appear as privately in BSc examination with the combination of subjects having no practical portion will be allowed. Now, a candidate, who wants to appear as a private/External degree candidate in B.A Examination with the subjects (Elective and optional) having practical will not be allowed. Now, a candidate, who has already passed B.A examinations will be allowed to appear in additional subject/s only having no practical portion. Further, that if a student has appeared and passed in of BSc examination as a regular student and he/she wants to sit in additional subject/s of B.Sc standard involving practical work, he/she will be allowed to appear in additional subject/s on producing a certificate from the Principal of a recognized/affiliated college that he/she is completed the practical work.
