Due to yet another "protest" announced by PTI, the district administrations of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore have decided to close all educational institutions in the federal capital tomorrow. Similarly, the Private Schools Association has also decided to shut down all private schools in the city.
The decision comes in light of PTI's planned protest tomorrow, allegedly directed by its detained leader in Adiala Jail. This follows the disruption caused by PTI's protest on November 24, when participants from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa staged a rally in Islamabad, leading to several consecutive days of school closures and impacting students' education.
In Lahore and Rawalpindi, similar measures have been announced. District administrations in both cities have issued directives to keep schools and colleges closed, citing potential threats to law and order due to the protests. Private school associations in these cities have also endorsed the closure to ensure students' safety.
The district administration stated that the decision to shut educational institutions is purely precautionary and aimed at maintaining public safety during the expected unrest.
