Government of Sindh has announced the official dates of Matric and Inter Exams 2025 commencement. The decision was taken in the meeting of the steering committee. According to the decision of the committee, Matric exams shall start from March 15, 2025.
Inter exams 2025 in Sindh shall start from April 15, 2025. The forum discussed on the swift conduct of examinations and start of the Academic session from 1 April for Schools & 1 August, 2025 for Colleges.
Since major Universities and scholarship programs are announced in August. It will allow the students to timely secure admissions and saving their precious year. The Committee made a detailed discussion on the agendas and following decisions were taken agenda-wise unanimously by the forum:
Academic Session 2025-26:
The Academic Session 2025-26 for the School will start from 1" April 2025. While Academic Session for the College will start from 1" August, 2025.
Admission schedule for the year 2025-26:
The admissions upto Class-IX will commence from 1 March to 31 March, 2025 and Classes will be started from 1 April. 2025. Whereas, admissions of Class XI shall be started from 1 June 2025 under SECCAP in Province and shall be completed in the last week of July. 2025 and for Class XII admissions shall be completed nte 15 A.: 075.
Examination schedule for the year 2025:
The Students for grade I to III shall be promoted without summative assessments. However. formative assessment will be formalized in schools and progress of students will be communicated to the parents.
The examinations from grade IV to VIII shall commence from I March to 15 March 2025.
The examination of grade IX and X shall start from 15th March 2025 and grade XI and XII from 15th April 2025.
The syllabuses for all classes will be reduced by up to 75% as the academic year is being shifted from Ist August to 1st April. The DCAR will provide the reduced syllabuses to the School for students, boards, and other concerned stakeholders.
After the centralized assessment, the results of grade X will be announced till 15th July 2025 and results of XII will be announced till 15th August 2025.
The results of grade IX and X1 will be announced after 60 days announcement of results of grades X and XII.
Agenda Item No. 5: Schedule of vacations and holidays for 2025:
The Summer vacation will be observed from 01-06-2025 to 31-07-2025.
The Winter vacation will be observed from 22-12-2025 to 31-12-2025
