The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced the Combined Entry Test 2025 (First Session) for admission to B.Sc. Engineering and other disciplines in public and private engineering institutions of Punjab. This test is mandatory for students aspiring to enroll in engineering programs offered by UET Lahore and other affiliated institutions.
The first phase of the UET ECAT 2025 (Engineering College Admission Test) will be conducted as a computer-based test at designated test centers across Punjab. Merit will be calculated based on entry test marks and FSc marks.
Key Details of UET Combined Entry Test 2025
Entry Test Date & Duration
- The UET Lahore Combined Entry Test 2025 (First) will be held from Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, March 21, 2025.
- It will be conducted as a computer-based test at multiple test centers in Punjab.
- The test duration is 100 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes).
Orientation Session Before the Test
Before the actual test, UET Lahore has planned orientation sessions to help students familiarize themselves with the computer-based format. These sessions will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at designated test centers.
Who Can Appear in the UET ECAT 2025?
- Any student who meets the eligibility criteria for engineering program admissions can register for the test.
- However, taking the test does NOT guarantee admission to engineering institutions.
Fee & Challan Generation for UET Entry Test 2025
To register for the test, candidates need to:
- Generate a Challan Token from the official UET website.
- Pay an entry test processing fee of Rs. 2,500/- via the following methods:
- UBL Branches (Pay over the counter)
- Online banking or mobile banking through UBL Omni
- HBL Bank payment options
- The last date to pay the challan is Monday, March 3, 2025.
How to Apply for UET ECAT 2025 Admit Card?
After paying the entry test fee, candidates need to fill out the online application form and select a preferred test center.
Admit Card Printing Date:
- Candidates can print their UET ECAT 2025 admit card from Tuesday, March 4, 2025 onwards.
- If a candidate fails to appear at the allocated test center, their registration will be canceled, and they will not be allowed to take the test again.
- The last date to register and get an admit card is Friday, March 28, 2025.
UET Entry Test Syllabus & Subjects to be Tested
The UET ECAT 2025 is based on the Punjab Board Intermediate syllabus and covers four subject combinations that students can select from:
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English
- Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and English
- Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English (For pre-medical students)
- Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and English
Each subject will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and the total marks will be 400.
Printing of Application & Admit Cards
- UET Lahore has provided free printing facilities for students who need help printing their application forms and admit cards.
- These services are available at UET Lahore from Monday, March 3, 2025, to Friday, March 28, 2025.
Documents Required on Test Day
Students must bring the following documents to the UET Entry Test Center:
- Printed UET ECAT 2025 Admit Card
- Original CNIC, B-Form, or Passport
- A-Level or Matric Certificate (if applicable)
Note: Failure to provide these documents will result in disqualification, and no test rescheduling or refund will be provided.
Important Guidelines for UET ECAT 2025 Candidates
- Students must arrive at their test centers on time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to sit for the test.
- Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, and smartwatches are prohibited.
- Any form of cheating or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification from the test.
- The test will be conducted in English only.
