Given the increasing cold, the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has extended the vacations of educational institutions. Winter vacations are extended till January 06, 2025.
An official notification has been issued in this regard. According to the notification, winter vacations in all government and private educational institutions have been extended until January 6, 2025.
Previously, the winter vacations in summer areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were announced until January 1. However, due to the ongoing extreme cold wave in the country, and especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the winter vacations have been extended by one week.
The notification said that after the vacations, educational institutions will now open on January 7, 2025, instead of January 1.
