The entry test for admission to Aga Khan Medical College is held every year. The entry test is conducted by Aga Khan University Karachi. Generally, the Entry test is held in the month of June/July every year in different cities of Pakistan. Each year about 100 students are admitted to the MBBS program at Aga Khan.
After qualifying entry test candidates are shortlisted for the interview. Shortlisting for interviews is based on the combination of Secondary School achievement and the AKU Admission Test score. A student is eligible for admission into Aga Khan Medical College if he qualifies entry test as well as an interview. SAT II and international MCAT will not be accepted as a substitute of the MDCAT to fulfil the PMDC requirements

Last date to apply for Aga Khan Medical College entry test is May 16, 2024
Test will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
AKU Medical College Eligibility Criteria
The students who have successfully completed or are in the process of completing their HSSC (FSc Pre-medical) can apply for the test. However, you must have an aggregate of 70% in FSc pre medical and at least a “B grade” in biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics in case of Advanced Level (A-Level).
Candidates following systems of education (i.e A-level) other than the Pakistani system will be required to submit equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) in Pakistan. The qualification must be equivalent to the pre-medical qualification in Pakistan.
AKU Entry Test Pattern
Time allotted = 2 hours.
Total MCQs = 100
· Biology (20 MCQs)
· Chemistry (20 MCQs)
· Physics (20 MCQs)
· Science reasoning (20 MCQs)
· Mathematics reasoning (20 MCQs)
There is negative marking only for the Biology, Chemistry and Physics sub-section where every wrong answer loses 0.25 marks.

HOW TO APPLY
Application form, prospectus and sample papers can be downloaded from the website of AKU www.aku.edu.
The completed application form should be posted by registered mail or sent through a reliable courier service to address prescribed on application form or delivered in person to the Admission Office in AKU Karachi.
