National University of Medical Sciences shall conduct entry test for admissions to MBBS and BDS programs for the following colleges:

NUMS MDCAT is mandatory for admission in NUMS Constituent, Affiliated and all Military (Armed Forces) Administered Medical and Dental Colleges.

TEST SCHEDULE 

NUMS entry test is required for admissions to Medical and Dental colleges affiliated with NUMS.

Registration shall start from Monday, July 3, 2023. The last date to apply is July 24, 2023. The last date to apply for NUMS MDCAT 2023 with late fee is August 4, 2023. 

MDCAT (NUMS) - 2023 shall be held on Sunday, 3rd September 2023 at 10:00 AM (PKT).

The candidates must reach their respective centres at least three hours before the commencement of the test on Sunday 3rd September 2023 (i,e.by 07:00 AM). The centres will be sealed closed at 09:30 am on the test day.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• The candidates having valid citizenship of Pakistan /Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals/Foreign Nationals can appear in MDCAT (NUMS) -2023.
• FSC/HSSC/A-Levels/ 12th Grade, awaiting result, can also apply for MDCAT (NUMS) -2023. 
• Minimum 60% marks both in Matric and HSSC / equivalent examination.
• FSC (pre-medical) students may apply for NUMS entry test based on FSC Part-I result but F.SC certificate or Detailed Marks Certificate shall be required for admission confirmation.
• A Level and other streams students may apply on the basis of O Level (SSC) or equivalence certificate issued Inter Board Committee of Chairmen(IBCC) office but confirmation of their admission will require A Level (HSSC) equivalence certificate.

TEST PATTERN

SUBJECT WISE WEIGHTAGE

There shall be no negative marking in the test.

NUMS MDCAT 2023 VENUES

The candidates can select any of the cities for appearance in the entry test.
