PIEAS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2024
Minimum 60% in both Matriculation/O-level (Science) and Intermediate/A-level (Pre-Engineering). Candidates with pre-medical backgrounds, who have given additional papers of Mathematics are also eligible. Students awaiting their result but expecting to secure the required percentage of marks may also apply.
PIEAS ENTRY TEST PATTERN 2024
Total time: 3 hrs
Total questions: 100 questions
There will be no negative marking.
Calculators are allowed in the test.
PIEAS entry test has the following pattern:
For Pre engg students:
· Mathematics 30 MCQs (FSc level)
· Physics 30 MCQs
· Chemistry 30 MCQs
· English 10 mcqs
For Pre-medical students:
· Mathematics 30 MCQs (matric level)
· Physics 30 MCQs
· Chemistry 30 MCQs
· English 10 mcqs
For ICS students:
· Mathematics 30 MCQs (FSc level)
· Physics 30 MCQs
· Computer science 30 MCQs
· English 10 mcqs
Total MCQs = 100
Time allotted = 3 hours.
PIEAS SELECTION CRITERIA / MERIT FORMULA 2024
Selection shall be made strictly on merit determined by:
· PIEAS Admission Test - 60%
· Matric 15%
· FSC (Part I) 25%
· 0-level/ A-Level 40% of 0-Level equivalence from IBCC

ADMISSION BASED ON SAT SCORES
· SAT II result of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Maths level II)
· A minimum score of 2000 is required.
· The PIEAS institutional code to receive SAT scores is 7272.
