Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) announces scholarships for Lawyers for fully funded local and foreign scholarships to pursue higher studies. Scholarships are offered for LLM and Ph.D. studies in Pakistan and top foreign universities.
Applications are invited from aspiring practicing Lawyers of Balochistan seeking Higher Education in Law (LLM, Bar-at-Law, or PhD) through a Fully Funded Scholarship Scheme under the Lawyers' Endowment Fund for Higher Education in Law for In-Land or Foreign studies, covering the following expenses:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Local/Domicile of Balochistan
- Unconditional Offer Letter from in-land universities or only from those foreign universities approved and recognized by the Pakistan Bar Council for the Fall 2025 session.
- Must be a practicing lawyer having a valid Balochistan Bar Council Practicing License with Bar Council Experience Certificate testifying that the applicant possesses 2 (two) years of practicing experience and is currently also a practicing lawyer not holding any kind of job (Public or Private).
- Must have secured at least 6.5 Bands Aggregate Valid (not expired) IELTS Score regardless of the requirement of the Institution/University. Documents such as English proficiency letters or any other English language test etc in lieu of IELTS will not be accepted. IELTS is not required for In-land Scholarships.
- HEC Attested LLB Degree and DMC
- Two Separate Guarantees on Rs. 500 Stamp Paper: A Self Guarantee and a Guarantee from Gazetted Government Officer of not less than BS-17 duly attested and notarized that in case of selection, the Lawyer shall return to Balochistan immediately after the conclusion of studies to serve and practice in the province for 2 (two) years. The guarantor shall be held responsible for refunding or for any other legal action in case of violation of this provision.
- In case of selection, deferment of sessions for the next year will not be allowed in any circumstances.
- Scholars having availed of scholarship once under this program or any other similar national program (provincial or federal) shall only be eligible to avail of scholarship under this program again after a period of five (5) years from completion of their previous degree.
- Any fraudulent documents or alteration in credentials will result in appropriate legal action(s).
Selection Process:
- Aspirants fulfilling the above criteria may apply through the form available at https://beef.org.pk/download/
- Only the candidates fulfilling all the criteria would be shortlisted by the Scrutiny Committee for the aptitude test.
- Aptitude tests will be conducted through HEC or any other agency. Candidates shortlisted by the Scrutiny Committee have to secure at-least 50% marks (aggregate) in the prescribed merit formula for scholarship consideration.
- Final Selection shall be made based on aptitude test scores and merit formula as per approved policy.
Slots for LLM, Bar-At-Law, and PhD shall be decided as per available finances and number of candidates. BEEF reserves the right to decide or decrease/increase the number of slots based on available finances.
Interested applicants may submit the application form along with all the necessary documents by 12th May 2025. Application received after the cutoff date shall not be entertained.
