Biophysics
This cross-discipline field is the study of biological structures and processes using physical techniques and the analytical methods of physics. The Biophysicist studies such diverse biological topics as large scale molecular interactions and mechanisms, the physical structure of the cell, the effect of energy use and radiation on cellular function, and thermodynamic and electrical phenomenon within the body.
